I am associate professor at the Physics Department of the University of Trento in the Statistical and Biological Physics Group.
I am also permanently affiliated member of the Trento Institute for Fundamental Physics and Applications (INFN-TIFPA).

Research interests
Theoretical physics of biological matter: quantum and statistical field theory, stochastic dynamics, enhanced sampling algorithms. Protein (mis-)folding and protein conformational transitions.
